Upcoming shows and events
I took some time off last summer to concentrate on the healing arts and to recharge. I am also writing on my second book, a sequel to The Magical Horses, and am halfway finished. In planning is a series, taking the whole aspect of healing in perspective, and of course more landscapes.

Some shows are already firm, but I am working on more, so stay in touch ...

Received awards
August 2004: Prairieland Exhibition, Saskatoon, SK - 2nd Prize in Professionals for "Magic of the Night".
January 2004: OSAC Art Competition, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK - Winner of the competition with the "Free Spirited Women" series (look in the "Figures" section). Adjudicator: Alicia Popoff.
August 2003: Prairieland Exhibition, Saskatoon, SK - 1st Prize in Professionals for "Yellow Cat/Lazy Afternoon".
August 2002: Prairieland Exhibition, Saskatoon, SK - 2nd Prize in Professionals/Multicultural for "Flower of Hope"; 1st Prize in Professionals/sculpture for "Dreamland Soul/Journey to the North".

Solo shows and events
February and March 2008: Selection of paintings (to be announced) at the Potter's Store off Broadway, Saskatoon, SK.
From November 2007: Display of nude paintings at Positive Passions, Broadway, Saskatoon, SK.
November 2-4, 2007: Annual Holiday Art Show and Sale for the Boys and Girls Club, Saskatoon. Opening reception Friday November 3, 8pm. Western Development Museum, Saskatoon, SK.
Friday November 10, 2006: 100 years Saskatoon, Celebrating our People, Showcase at the Centennial Auditorium Saskatoon, SK. Solo display with paintings and reading from my book, "The Magical Horses".
October 12-25, 2006: Solo Show including photographs and paintings with the title: "New York, Reflections and Patterns - Capturing the Spirit of a city". This show took place in the Gallery-Studio Building of the Art au Jus art group, 539 24th Street beside Knox United Church, Saskatoon, SK.
September 30-October 1, 2006: Solo show at the German Club in Saskatoon, SK during the German Days. A selection of my paintings to show the range I work in.
August 16, 2006: Reading from my book "The Magical Horses" at McNally Robinson Bookstore on 8th Street, Saskatoon. This event is happening together with Big Brothers Big Sisters-Saskatoon as we work together on promoting and marketing the book. BBBS will receive $2CDN from each book sold through bookstores and $5CDN if they sell it through their own venues. We hope to get the national board going on this as well as the national board of the US and BBBS International.
September 30-October 15, 2005: "Tribute to Saskatchewan - Landscapes and Skies" at Collectors Choice Gallery, Saskatoon, SK.
July 10, 2005: Solo show and demonstration, Berry Barn, Saskatoon, SK.
June 18, 2005: Solo show and demonstration, Garden Architecture and Design, Saskatoon, SK.
April 1-3, 2005: Gardenscape, Prairieland Exhibition Grounds, Saskatoon, SK.
March 18-20, 2005: Home Styles Show, Prairieland Exhibition Grounds, Saskatoon, SK.
January-May 2005: Golf Oasis Resort/Restaurant, Jim and Bruna Scharf, Perdue, SK.
November/December 2004: Art Store/gallery "Vibrant Art Originelle", with artist, Jeannette Lussier. The Centre, Saskatoon, SK. This was an interesting and exciting venture and we got lots of new contacts and connections through our gallery. We now operate online and show at different exhibitions. Our artwork on ceramic tiles, possible for only a few years through new technology - taking interior design and decorating to a whole new level! Thanks to everyone who visited the gallery, it was a great success!
