There are many kinds of reflections... reflections of the day, reflections of the passed hour, reflections of a life, reflections of a year... the reflection of our image in a mirror, bringing all these thoughts to mind...

... all of these reflecting upon passed events, missed chances or new opportunities, grief and happiness...

This past year of course had all of this, as every passed minute includes all of these as well.

But reflection can also be upon the present moment, which is the most important one, the moment we live in, the moment we can act and change things---create.

Creating beauty and living every minute as full and intense as possible, the way it feels the best, for us and everyone else. Creating beauty by living peace and harmony from the inside out, actively and every minute of the day.

Breathing love, being love, so love will arise and surround the world.

A wonderful painting is the result of the feeling in your fingers. If you have the feeling of the thickness of the ink in your brush, the painting is already there before you paint. When you dip your brush into the ink you already know the result of your drawing, or else you cannot paint. So before you do something, "being" is there, the result is there. Let go of believing you are Love… As when you say this and think it… your ego is actually talking to you, not the Divine.

Your ego wants you to believe you are Love, and it is very creative in figuring out a variety of things to convince you that you are Love…

Doing better volunteer work than others, helping more than others, having the ‘better’ religion and the ‘better’ church which does ‘better’ work than others, believing in the ‘right’ God, standing out as a generous and giving person, having a better country, being a better nation than the others.

This is all ‘good’ work, but most likely puts you in a higher place than others, makes you feel better oppose to your neighbour who is doing only half of all that and on top of it ‘believes’ in the wrong God and goes to the ‘wrong’ church.

Our ego wants to make us feel good, better than others, and gives us the illusion that what we are doing is Love, that we ARE actually Love, but we are actually farther away than ever if we think that way…

Trying to love better than someone else is not Love, it is Ego.

Concentrate on all the energy you scattered around yourself, bring it inside, piece by piece and feel how still it gets inside of you. Then look at Love as its own entity, its own living thing and invite it gently to come inside of you…

Feel the silence that appeared inside… how it feels… this is true Love… Open your eyes and look at the world around you… how it changed… everything is sweet, everything smiles back at you, soft, no hard edges, no matter what and no matter how the situation… this is true Love, flowing through you and flowing through everything there is… as it is the only thing there is… Love… unconditional, limitless, forever and for everyone… Pure Love, in everything you see, do and feel… Love.

Let’s be a nation of Love, pure and innocent, loving in any way.
