To the extent that our experience of suffering reminds us of what everyone else also endures, it serves as a powerful inspiration to practice compassion and avoid causing others pain. And to the extent that suffering awakens our empathy and causes us to connect with others, it serves as the basis of compassion and love.
Love this!! There is nothing more to add... easy, but not as easy as it sounds, but very rewarding, and - it works!!! Give it a try 
I am in Penticton right now, in the midst of my cross Canada book tour, sitting in a Starbucks and writing my blogs, downloading pictures, and keeping in touch with everyone, doing facebook, etc.

Painting, Book Launch, Book Tour...
Thanks everyone for coming out to my Book Launch that happened August 5th, at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon!! It was an awesome experience and great success!!! A good 55 people came out to listen and share. It was very moving to see all those familiar and also new faces. Thank you so much for coming! I like to especially thank my nice Maria Epp for performing a song she wrote especially for the book - it was fabulous!! Thank you, thank you all so much!!
Pretty soon I will be leaving for my cross Canada tour to promote my book. I will let you know about my schedule and the places I will visit very soon!
