Raw Vegan Protein Sources

Here a great list and some information on raw vegan protein sources! Even if you are not a vegan or vegetarian, this information is great and something to consider adding to your diet... considering that the average portion of meat has only 14% of protein... if it's raw... and cooked you can cut that in half... so that makes only 7%...

There is a big campaign going on right now from 'Got Milk?' to increase the consumption of milk. This time they target men, as well as women to ease the symptoms of PMS...

I guess they are starting to run out of arguments, as it seems pretty desperate to me...

Please people, get informed! There is enough information out there today to get you the knowledge to make a decision that will sustain and improve your health! Milk and milk products are feeding cancerous cells and help to make tumors grow! Milk and milk products are clogging your arteries and coat your stomach, contain cholesterol, and make digestion harder. It is not meant for human consumption, but for the babies of those animals it comes from!

There are huge lobbies behind all those campaigns that are winning big by selling all those products, including pharmacutical companies and many more!

There is no lobby that wins big if you go the other way, but - your body will win big!! Think about that and get informed, please! Don't just take every pre-digested information that is given to you!

Go to your local theatre to watch 'Forks over Knifes', or order the DVD to share with friends. Have a healthy veggie pot luck and watch the movie together with friends and family. It is eye opening and will change the way you look at the things that get presented to you...

The process of creation...

Hello there everyone! The process of creation can mean many things, and actually it means EVERYTHING, as we create at every little given moment!

We create when we think, when we walk, talk, feel - all those many different emotions we are going through, and everything, all of this and even more gets turned into energy = vibrations that move through time and space. All those energies are out there and responsible how WE feel as a whole, as humans in general. All those create the collective consciousnes.

So it's great to get good energies and vibrations out there isn't it? To consciously think positively and with love in everything we do, to give warmth out to people, loving thoughts and happy vibrations. Well, I know that this is not always easy to do, but we can reprogram our brain from negative to positive, and even find in seemingly negative happenings something positive, some light that emerges from it...

This is what I like to do with my art, be it writing or painting, or be it helping people with my therapies. I like to bring out positive, happy, and loving vibrations, good energy that emenates from everything I do, from who I am - loving service for the greater good, knowing that everything we do reflects back unto us, knowing, feeling, that we are deeply connected at any given moment.

Today I like you to take part, be with me while I create a new piece of art. It is a different kind of painting, and you will see soon why... it is called 'Metamorphosis'... I hope you enjoy it

This is how it looked like after the 'unfolding' procedure... I am working on raw, unstretched canvas, placing paint on both sides, then folding the canvas. The pattern appeared after I opened it. For me this is conscious creation at its best - consciously choosing and placing the colours, then - letting go and let the creative process take on a life of its own... we take part, give our input, but then at one point let go and let things happen on their own...

Being NOT in control is a big part of this all, because when we start to think, our ego starts to set in and many times distracts us from where we are suppose to head... so let go and trust in the process...

This specific process of painting gives me freedom and structure, a very good mixture to activate both sides of the brain, to satisfy the need to let loose as well as the need of having a pattern to follow, a plan, that - when we look at it from afar, also is part of letting go, leading us to places and forms we did not intent, but rather letting them emerge on their own, which in turn is letting go again - so the circle closes and brings to completion what we started, and completion is the beginning of something new again...

To give the canvas more structure, I handstitched quilt binding on both cut sides. I used a zick-zack pattern for that. As well as I re-inforced both sides also with a golden coated copper wire.

Handsown bags made of vintage fabric got added as weights to hold the ends of the canvas into place...

This is how it looked like hung up on the window at 'Willow Studio' in downtown Saskatoon. Right now it's been used as a backdrop for a furniture display and more art. What a wonderful way of using art - as a painting, wall hanging, room divider - the possibilities are endless!!

Here some impressions from the details of this piece - the painting, the fabric bags = filled with raw rosequartz and a piece of copal, wire wrapped amethyst, as well as shells and a colourful sparkeling glass heart...

'Metamorphosis' is indeed an emergence of an image, being part of the creative process in any which way...

It is the first piece in a line of images I am creating and is being offered at an introductory price of $ 3500. The painting is 6 x 6 feet and comes complete with all accessories.

I am right in the front window working there at my newest painting. There is the big sidewalk sale going on right now, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so I don't have much time to write these days, but will do so again soon.
